Lease · Own · Depreciate — calculated
What does the dream actually cost?

Why exotic car math is different
Residuals swing wildly
A G63 residualizes above 70% while an i7 sits near 42%. On a six-figure car that spread is worth thousands per month — more than any negotiation on price will ever recover.
Rate is charged on the whole car
Lease interest applies to the capitalized cost plus the residual, not just the amount you use up. On expensive cars the finance charge often exceeds the depreciation itself.
Running costs are not a rounding error
Insurance and maintenance on a supercar can exceed $12,000 a year. A payment comparison that ignores them will point you at the wrong car.
